Study With V.I Teacher Agreement

Study with V.I is an ISO certified organization works online to empower Visually impaired people by providing Technical and Accessible education to all. It was founded by Mr. Subham Kumar on 21st November 2020. “Technical Brilliance - Accessible Learning”, keeping this in mind, We launch many courses to uplift not just Visually Impaired, but also the whole disability community and the general public in a wider sense.
If you join the team as a teacher, there are some protocols that are binding on you. If any protocol is not followed or if is misused, then you will be responsible for the future actions as strict actions can be taken by our team. Read all the protocols carefully and only then sign the agreement.

Teacher Protocols

  1. Any sensitive information regarding the team and its future planning shall not be leaked anywhere. If found doing so, you will be terminated from the team without any warning.
  2. Classes must be conducted from Monday to Friday. Every Saturday, there must be a weekly test conducted by the respective teacher to track the performance of the students.
  3. Every 15 days, the examiner team will conduct a test, and the teacher will be accountable if the students are not performing well or are below average.
  4. The teacher must conduct the course in an accessible manner and provide all the study material in an accessible format.
  5. The teacher is responsible for maintaining discipline and decorum in the class.
  6. A team member will be present to observe and ensure the quality is maintained for teachers who are not part of the team. No teacher should feel uncomfortable or deny this observation.
  7. Once the course article is circulated, even if there is only one student, the teacher must conduct the class.
  8. No teacher can step back or quit the course once the course article is published
    Note: If there is an emergency only then, a teacher is allowed to postponed the course up to a certain limit but is not allowed to quit the course.
  9. Teachers are allowed to take a maximum of 3 leaves per month with prior permission of at least a week, or 12 hours in the case of a medical emergency, provided in writing by the head of the Study department.
  10. A weekly report must be submitted with all the necessary details to the head of the Study department every Saturday evening. Necessary changes shall be made based on the head's recommendations.
  11. Teachers must prepare their own study material (assistance and guidance will be provided by the team if required), create and assess weekly test papers, and implement rules to maintain regularity, decorum, and discipline in the class to conduct courses smoothly and maintain quality.
  12. All study materials must be self-created and must not be sourced from any other academy or third-party resources that may cause copyright issues for the team.
  13. Teachers will be paid 60% of the total fees collected at the end of the course (some advance amount may be paid after 15 days, subject to the decision of the management and the Study department).
  14. Our team believes and works towards inclusiveness, so any discrimination or abuse towards any co-member/teacher based on gender, caste, language, regional ethnicity, disability, race, etc., will result in a permanent ban from joining the team and immediate termination.
  15. No teacher is allowed to share or discuss the course study material with students who are not part of the team or publish it on personal social media accounts, including but not limited to YouTube . The team reserves the authority to deny any such teacher or a teacher engaged in unauthorized work.
  16. The team is not answerable to any questions asked by a teacher that compromises the privacy and security of the team.
  17. All the information, data, proceedings, and plans are confidential. Anyone found discussing or sharing them with unauthorized individuals will be considered guilty and accountable for any actions taken by the management.
  18. Syllabus will be provided to each teacher for the smooth conduct of the course.
  19. If any changes are required in the syllabus by the teacher, that should be conveyed first and post discussion, the final decision will be conveyed by the management and only then the changes can be enforced.
    Note: if any course requires changes in duration, syllabus or anything related to the course, management upholds the authority to do so as when required based on current situations and demands and the teacher is obliged to follow and agree those changes.
  20. Experience certificate will be provided only if the courses are conducted in the expected way as laid down in the agreement and if the teacher completes a minimum of 1 year with the team.
  21. Anyone found guilty of engaging in unauthorized work will be removed from the team and permanently banned.
  22. The duration of the course depends on the nature of the course and cannot be similar for each course.
  23. The timing of the course will be decided based on the availability of the teacher and the respective students.
  24. Any in discipline or un loyalty towards the team or the work given will not be entertained.

Important note: some courses are also launched on weekend to extend the learnings to even those who are working professionals or are busy in their regular study schedule and wish to upskill themselves. So if anyone interested can also join to offer such courses.
The similar protocols and compensation amount is applicable to them. For those courses which will be conducted on weekends, the weekly test shall be conducted on Friday evening and there should be a time limit as by which time the test shall be submitted. The examiner test in such case will be conducted on Friday evening every 15 days.
Note: as the courses are only on weekends, it is important to maintain quality, therefore regular assessments should be provided and feedbacks also should be provided regularly.

You are obliged to follow all the protocols mentioned above and any additional protocols introduced as per the requirement. Failure to comply may result in punishment if your actions undermine the dignity, unity, and integrity of the team.

Note: the team is always a collective responsibility and works together, so it cannot be taken for granted by any member, officer, teacher or any third party person. The management is authorised to make and change any protocols as per future situation by a majority decision which is valid and does not harm the base of the team.

Internal Security Requirements

For internal security purposes, every teacher who joins is required to submit their "Aadhar card" and disability certificate (if any) to verify their identity.

Agreement

If you agree with all the above-mentioned protocols and wish to work and render your services to the team, kindly sign the agreement by agreeing to the protocols. By signing the agreement, you acknowledge that all these protocols will apply to you, and you will be accountable to the team for your actions.
